Coming Up This Week...

Come Home!

Every school has a homecoming, where festivities abound, alumni are welcomed back and a spirit of celebration is evident. At Tabor Mennonite Church, September is Homecoming Month and we are intentionally inviting Tabor folks back to worship. In this season of Homecoming, faith festivities are planned (centennial, gift discernment, narrative dreaming), church members are invited to come back to worship more regularly, and we anticipate a spirit of celebration.

If you are a Tabor Church member and you have been away for some time or you have become more sporadic in your attendance, we invite you back home. If you need to visit with any of the pastors or deacons about why you have been gone, we'd welcome that too. When you joined Tabor, you made a covenant with God and with this community of faith to "participate in the discerning and decision-making functions of the fellowship; uphold the fellowship with prayer, financial resources, regular attendance at its worship services, and observance of the Lord's Supper; and sharing in the overall ministry of the church." (Tabor Constitution, page 2)

We have many exciting things happening. So, don't be a stranger. We expect to see you "come home."
